My old lever broke and this replacement lever looked exactly like the old one. It turns out it was indeed a perfect replacement. I didn’t need to replace the cable and the old cable fit right in to this new part. It works well and fits great. Now I can recline again! I’ve been using it a couple of weeks with no issues.
These replacement parts fit perfectly and allows replacement in approximately 10 minutes.
Fit my recliners perfectly
I watched a short video to understand how to install this item (which mostly amounts to "look at the existing cable under your sofa and position the new cable the same way") and it really was that easy. The only assembly required is attaching the new cable to the new handle (which can be done without tools or instructions, its self-explanatory), and a screwdriver for the handle (screws ARE NOT included, reuse your existing screws). No tinkering with cable length or anything like that, it all fit right out of the box.
