Supported Mattress

I was wondering why there are two seemingly identical versions with two different prices. Now I know; the boards aren’t solid wood but manufacturer panels albeit sturdy. So, I installed it on the bed frame on top of the slats that don’t really support the mattress (hence this bunkie board).I must say that the board did make a difference and my 11 month old mattress does not sag anymore!I almost returned the mattress to Costco before I figured I should try the bunkie board.I suppose time will tell how the boards will hold up.I have included some photos.
