I have big dogs and they were destroying my previous frame by jumping on the bed (usually at speed), the leg mounts were starting to bend. I gambled on this, it had no reviews. But it has two connection points on the legs (without the second connection point being on the ground, a toe stubber) so I hope it will have additional lateral strength to resist the dogs.Before assembly I had some concerns. But I was impressed by how it came together. First impression is that it is a very strong frame. There is only one type of bolt and it seems heavy duty and of quality metal. Barely adequate tools come with, I'd recommend having a small socket wrench (12mm) and a M4 bit and bit driver on hand. Assembly took some time and effort (California King) but was straightforeward and as per directions.

Modern frame/springs perfect fit for mattress

For several years, I have just had a 4-in pedestal directly on the wood floor in my bedroom. On top of that sits the extra thick modern style of mattress that you do not flip, but just rotate head to toe 180° for proper use and rotation / maintenance.Anyroom Queen Bedframe was obvious and easy assembly in a few patient hours with plenty of room to spread things out as suggested in the injections. Now my thick mattress is 16 in off the floor on a solid durable rugged foundation. After assembling, I stuck a few precut tennis balls on the smaller legs to make sliding across my varnished wood floor easier.Very impressive precise packing everything into a tight space with clear instructions with all parts labeled. The instructions emphasize on every page do not tighten fully until completely assembled. That is good advice so that parts wiggle and flex a bit so you can get them into place.Be very careful to make sure the inner leg part with two slots for the center horizontal beam are facing the inside of the framing. A correctly sized allen wrench and small socket wrench are included along with one extra bolt because they are easy to misplace!The dimensions are perfect for my modern extra thick queen size mattress. I didn't really find the need for the included plastic clips that encourage the mattress to keep from sliding side to side. They seem to keep popping off as if my mattress for just a few millimeters larger than the frame.I praise the Special Care for the padded rubber footing where the legs make contact with carpet or a nicely varnished and well maintained wooden floor. Extra replacement pads are included, and I'm very happy with the tennis balls in the center top and bottom positions. The corner legs are much thicker so a tennis ball would not fit.I would rather keep my bed clutter-free underneath so I can vacuum easily, but already extra cushions and pads are finding their way to handy storage below and out of the way. With 16 inches of clearance, there's plenty of room to put some wardrobe boxes, either cardboard or plastic with wheels.

Easy Assembly and Very Sturdy Frame

This frame was surprisingly quick and easy to put together. Everything lines up well, and the instructions are straightforward. It comes with the tools needed, but I’d definitely recommend using a socket and drill if you have one—it’ll save you some time and effort.Once assembled, it feels very solid. No wobbling, no noise, and it stays put even on hard flooring. I have it on vinyl plank and haven’t had any issues with it sliding around.The under-bed clearance is a nice bonus. There’s plenty of room for storage bins, which helps keep things organized without taking up extra space in the room.It also has provisions for attaching a headboard, which is a nice touch if you want a more finished look.Only thing to keep in mind is the height. With a standard mattress, this sits pretty tall, so depending on what you’re using, it may end up higher than expected.Overall, it’s a sturdy, no-nonsense frame that does exactly what it’s supposed to.
