AURINEST Farmhouse Night Stand Set of 1, Bed Side Table with 2 Drawers and Storage Shelf, Rustic White End Table for Bedroom, Living, Entryway, Office, Dorm, Small Spaces, WhiteIf your end table is less stable than you expected, please read this!We've all put together furniture before that have used cam locks, but these were a bit different from any that I've seen in the past. I'm not sure the name of the individual pieces, but I'm going to call them the stud and the lock. Typically, the stud will screw into the wood, and the lock will be inserted into the piece that attaches to it. Screwing the lock part way will pull the wood tight and ensure a stable connection.Upon my first attempt at assembling this, I was very confused. The studs for these cam locks had a plastic piece over the end that usually screws into the wood, and when fit into the wood, this seemed very loose. I didn't think much of it, and I just went about trying to connect the pieces. However, upon attempting to tighten down the lock, I discovered that the joint was VERY sloppy. The wood wasn't being pulled together and everything was loose and floppy. It took far longer than I care to admit, but I eventually realized that the stud wasn't installed into the wood piece properly. Upon inserting the end with the plastic cover, you still have to screw these in! The screw will push the plastic bits out into the wood, similar to a drywall anchor. Once installed fully, mating with the respective lock piece pulled the wood tight as expected, and things were much more stable. This was not made clear at all in the instructions, as far as I could tell.Once I got past the assembly issues, putting this together went quickly. It's a rather straightforward build. It looks alright. The night stand doesn't really match my aesthetic that well, but it'll work for my guest room.

Great table/shelf! A few minor issues but fine once put together!

I like this little nightstand (I use it as an end table by my couch) but couldn’t give it 5 stars because of a few relatively minor issues. It was pretty easy to put together but the few issues I had were revolved around putting it together. Now that it’s together it’s completely fine, it looks good, it’s sturdy and I love it!Like other reviews stated there was issues with some of the back pieces where the back panel slides in.. the sides were cut cleanly but the bottom piece was like incredibly chewed up I honestly have no idea what they did or how that happened (it was almost laughable) and actually one of the side pieces though cut cleanly, they like missed popping out the ends that needed to be cut out for the piece to slide in so I had to pop them out with a knife. At first I was a little annoyed because while the panel fit it was kind of wonky. But then I realized that it comes with these little tiny wedge pieces that you use to wedge between the back pieces and the panel to stabilize it and that made it completely attached and stable so there’s no issue there anymore and I mean you can’t see any of these pieces anyways.The other issue was there was a few pieces that had a messy glue job done. A few had some of the glue (it was dried but it was like a yellow color now so it stood out) seeping out and one spot it was smeared on the front like it was wiped there? But I easily cleaned it off with a wet paper towel.Other than those things I really like this shelf and both of those things are not an issue now that it’s put together however I did feel it was enough to not give 5 stars. But again I love the item there’s just a few quality control things they need to improve on :)
