Great storage for blankets, well-built for price (in October 2022: $45)
EDIT 1/27/2023: OK, I didn't realize I purchased this at the absolute bottom price of $44.52 in the end of October '22. I don't know if I'd say it's amazing for the price at $150+.---It’s likely Amazon copied this from another manufacturer that sold well to make higher margins direct to buyers. If that bothers you, I would seek the original maker.That said, we use this in our living room to store blankets and pillows for the couch for a movie or TV night. We’ve also purchased a much cheaper storage ottoman with a top you can remove, but I wish I had found this one earlier. I think this should last us longer without worrying about keeping it pristine as a future family heirloom.With that in mind I found the build quality high for the price. I wouldn’t recommend using it as a stool. For seating by a front door it would be fine.We have hard floors, and the feet slide a bit. If it bothers me I’ll add sled adhesive rubber pads below the feet.The lid has a single hinge to protect anyone’s hands when you let go of the top, and it’s spring tension is so strong you have to force it down to close it. Some people may find that slightly annoying, but I’d rather have it than a lid that rests on my head while I rummage.The cushioning on top is firm as there isn’t much foam over the particle board (assumption) lid top. For kicking your feet up, it’s not a problem at all. Even our pups like to lay on it from time to time.I think this could withstand two or three moves no problem if you wrap it. If it degrades quickly I’ll update my review and lower the rating. If it lasts 6+ years for us I’ll be happy. My guess is the fabric upholstery will be the first to degrade.The gray is slightly warm with a cross hatch texture. I like it.For anyone with a smaller space who needs multi-use furniture, is on a budget but doesn’t like to buy the cheapest option out there, and feel too lazy to go to IKEA, this is a solid option.

This is an attractive piece, made well.
I guess my dislike would be the color.Its built well the lid hinges are great .Padding is firm and comfy.The lid stays up until you close it.The color will match alot however next to sackcloth or ivory it has a peachy hue but next to white it looks a deep tan.It holds 4 throw pillows and a blanket easy.The cushion is firm to sit on and comfy under your heels also.It looks good has a good size ,is made well.Has no odor to it at all.See my pics for scale and looks.

Sturdy, Beautiful, and Assembled
This is beautiful, very sturdy, and comes fully assembled (!!). I use it now for sheets/linen storage at the end of my bed. I will be buying more to use throughout the house. It would be perfect for a guest room - to store extra pillows and blankets. So glad to have found it at this price, just what I was looking for.

Great bedroom accent
I use this to store extra bedding and it works well. I love it and I would buy it again for another part of my house, or recommend it to someone else.The size is good and it looks great. I went with beige because it goes with anything. I have a girly eclectic style and was initially worried this might be too traditional, but it actually blends well. I think this bench would work with a lot of different styles.I don't sit on it very often, it's basically an accent/storage piece in my bedroom, so I can't speak to durability. It is comfortable to sit on. At most, I sit on it when I get dressed or take my shoes off. It has held up to my dogs using it as a ladder to get on my bed sometimes. It feels sturdy, it's never wiggled or made any noises. I've had it for maybe a year and a half now and it still seems very stable. The feet screw on and I have not had to readjust them since I initially got this piece.The beige linen style material shows hair very easily. Like everything else in my house, it's covered in dog hair. This particular material is difficult to clean with a vacuum alone, I would recommend a lily brush if you have pets with coarse hair. I don't mind having dog hair all over it, I'm used to it. If you're picky about hair or lint or dirt, I would recommend a different color or even a different material. This is not the type of thing you can quickly run a vacuum over and get all the hair out, you will have to use a silicone brush like a lily brush if you really want to get the hair out.

Its sturdy
The color is true to the picture and its sturdy. I dont sit on it for long periods but it is comfortable. It lives in the entry to my apartment. Convenient for getting shoes off and out of sight. I dont care for shoes strewn about the doorway, unless someones visiting. A good solution to declutter my small living space. Easily fits several pairs of shoes, boots and 46 liter backpack.
