I purchased 4 of these bar stools for my kitchen island (Had to return one that was defective) - wanted that steampunk/industrial look which they really are. Assembly wasn't very hard at all and they're pretty sturdy except for the wood seats which are a bit wobbly and not too comfortable. BUT, truthfully I'm really glad I got these particular stools because they really are exactly what I wanted at a price that was reasonable.
If you are mechanically inclined, this is an ideal item for either home or workshop. It is very durable and somewhat more heavy than the average stool or chair. The perfect fit for my new workshop.
Love this little stool and it’s perfect cause it has a locking mechanism on it for me. My counters are high. I can raise this up and sit comfortably and chop and cut up food.
This one is amazing, looks so retro and super stable.
This stool is exactly as pictured and described. It is heavy duty and excellent quality. It comes in a small box and requires assembly. The instructions do not spell out the steps, which worried me at first, but I was able to follow the diagram easily enough. I do wish the bolts had been labeled however. Assembly was fairly quick; under 10 min. I really like the look of this stool. I love the burnt amber and brown colors. The padded seat is firm and durable and it is textured, which is great for preventing slippage while sitting in it. The height can easily be adjusted by spinning the seat portion. It has a nice, heavy duty foot rest and the coil around the bottom adds to its industrial style. I am using it as a stool for my keyboard, and it's working out great.
