Folds flat, sturdy and solid.

I've wanted something for extra seating around our round table that I could put away in the closet without taking up a lot of room. We have an older home and storage space is minimal.These fit the bill, for the most part. They look great and as temporary seating will blend in many environments. These are good quality and a really solid chair. I weigh 158 lbs and they don't even wiggle when I sit in them. They come fully assembled and all you have to do is open the box, flip the bottom out and sit. They fold very flat and it takes zero effort to fold.The only reason I'm not giving these 5 stars is the comfort. While I can sit in them for a shorter dinner, they aren't really comfortable so I'm not going to linger. Because they fold so flat, ergonomically they couldn't account for the way the human body sits, so it's strictly for function. I'm pretty sure I'll put my children in these for dinner as they don't tend to linger to chat after. I will reiterate that these are fantastic for storing flat and taking up little space.
