This book shelf was exactly what I have been looking for over the last six months for our grandson's books. It is solidly and simply built. The books bindings are clearly visible so you can easily find whatever book you're looking for. The shelf itself spins easily. I've not had to move books around to redistribute weight. Nice rotating shelf - lot of space saving

I gotta say, this rotating bookshelf is way better than I expected! First off, assembly was super easy—took me maybe 20–30 minutes, and all the pieces fit together well. It’s surprisingly sturdy for something that spins, and the 360-degree rotation is so smooth.The five tiers hold a TON of books, which is perfect because my kid has way too many. A nice bookshelf, if you’re willing to put in some work

Let’s not fool ourselves, it’s cheap pine furniture. Everything comes unfinished. The circular pieces appear to be cut with a router and the edges are not sanded smooth (if at all). Since it is pine and a very soft wood, shipping didn’t do it any favors. Some small dents in a few pieces, not a huge deal.I decided to stain mine a dark walnut and give it 2 coats of polyurethane. The wood soaked it up so much I could have put another 1-2 coats on and been better off, but I didn’t have the option of leaving it in pieces any longer.Assembly was fairly simple. I didn’t time myself but it was less than an hour. I used a ratcheting driver instead of the Allen wrench that was included. That would have made it much longer I suspect. But I digress.Turns out I have more books than I realized and just ordered the 3 tier version as a companion piece, so I get to do it all over again lol.If you’re willing to put the time into finishing the wood then I think this bookshelf will look great and hold up for a long time. If you just want to put it together as is I’m sure you will still get your moneys worth.

Excellent Rotating Book shelf for Kids room, Dorm, small office

I searched for a long time on Amazon to get the quality, price, and height that I was looking for in a rotating bookshelf. I am so happy that I am taking time to write this review! It comes sanded and ready for stain or paint. I chose to go with driftwood for my stain and a spray on polyurethane. It was so easy to assemble. Make sure you do each layer one at a time. I flipped over to get the screws on the bottom for first two layers. I love that it came with a white glove for assembly and a patch of sand paper too. I only needed to sand some of the poly spray that I had overstayed in one area. It is sturdy. It takes up very little space in a room. This is perfect for a college student, kids room, or if you have small space in an office. I plan to fill from top to bottom with children’s books but I wanted to show the fit and how many books you could put in one of the four areas on each level. Why I chose this one- first it’s REAL wood. Second, you can stain and paint to your liking. Third, the height of each shelf is about one foot. Not a lot of shelves will give that height. For my extra large books I plan to have a horizontal book display on a nearby armoire. I give this product 2 thumbs up! Great value for money!

Assembly Is Easy — Just Don’t Follow the Instructions

I bought five of these rotating bookshelves, and after assembling the first one, I completely understood why so many reviewers said it was impossible. I followed the instructions exactly, and it was a struggle — pieces wouldn’t line up, and I had to trim parts just to make them fit. I dreaded putting together the remaining four.Then I tried a different method, and everything suddenly made sense. The key is to ignore the step that tells you to connect the upright shelf and the small rounded part of each shelf together first. That’s what makes the whole thing frustrating. Here’s the approach that actually works:**Start with the bottom circle piece.**Take an upright panel with the slot facing UPWARD. Rotate and flip it until you find the orientation where it naturally lines up with the mortise‑and‑tenon holes. Don’t insert it yet.**Take the small rounded side panel and test which direction it fits into the bottom holes.**Once you know the correct orientation for both pieces, screw the upright panel and the rounded side panel together. Then insert them into the holes — they should slide in easily.**Next, take another upright panel with the slot facing DOWNWARD. Again, rotate and flip it until it lines up naturally. Attach it to its rounded side panel, insert it, and screw all the pieces into the circle below.**Place the next circle piece on top. Rotate and flip it until it settles into the uprights without force, then screw it down.**Repeat this process layer by layer until the bookshelf is complete.Using this method, the remaining shelves went together quickly and without any of the frustration I had the first time. The product is great — you just need the right assembly technique.
