It's ok, my nightstand is better.
I wanted to enjoy this item, however the screws they provided were so short that, if you put anything slightly heavy, it might strip out of the wood or it just staying on. It is very short, so it's best for beds without a box spring, unless you have extremely tall bedside rail walls. My mattress is 12inches thick (I have a memory foam) and my side walls are just slightly below the box spring, so the table top is slightly under the mattress. I didn't like it and forgot it was there so I would bump into it. It's Easy to use tho, just place stuff on top after you secure it to the bed. You can move it from room to room, so that's nice. The appearance of it, seemed like quality wood, so it doesn't just look out of place. It's a niche item and I think a nightstand would fit better.

Good Design With Noticeable Hardware Issue
This Bedside Shelf Adjustable Height for Dorm Bunk Bed is honestly a really nice looking and practical little bedside table once you get it set up because the design is clean the color looks good and it fits well on a bunk or loft bed while giving you a convenient spot to keep things like your phone drinks or other small items within reach and I also like that it includes a cable catch which helps keep things from sliding around and adds a little extra functionality however the reason I am giving this three stars comes down to the assembly issue I ran into because while it is technically easy to put together the screws that are supposed to attach the base to the table top not work properly in my case since the threaded inserts inside the table were set too far down making the provided screws too short to actually catch and tighten which meant I had to go find my own machine screws just to finish putting it together and that is something most people are not going to expect or be prepared for so it could definitely be frustrating especially if you do not have extra hardware laying around and while it is possible I just got a defective unit or a one off issue it is still something buyers should be aware of before purchasing because it can turn what should be a quick setup into a bit of a hassle but once I got past that problem and used the correct screws everything came together solid and it works exactly as intended holding items securely and staying in place so overall it is a good functional product with a nice design that does the job well but the hardware issue keeps it from being a full five star experience and lands it at a fair three stars from me.
