Excellent product – bought this to accompany a separate mattress topper to firm up a boxspring mattress and then create cushioning by putting the topper on top of the mattress. Very easy to put under the mattress and very strong and stable. Exactly what I was looking for and very good quality. This plus a topper was much cheaper to improve a mattress that was too firm vs buying a high priced new mattress. A mattress company call center gave me the idea : never heard of a bunkie board before ! So now I - you - know !

Awesome bunkie board with wide solid wood planks
I'm so glad that I found this product. Unlike most other bunkie boards out there, this product has wood boards that are solid and wide, rather than skinny slats. It feels durable and high quality. The outer gray material also feels very durable. Please be aware that it is short about 2 inches from the standard frame size. For example my Queen bed frame is 60" x 80" but the bunkie board is 58" x 78" - Not a problem, I think this is normal for most bunkie boards. You should get this, you will not regret it!

Great quality!
I replaced my blown out box spring with a steel frame foundation with these bunkie boards on top and it made a world of difference. If your mattress feels like it's caving in the middle, pull back some fabric on the bottom side of your box spring and insoect the internals and you might find your springs are just collapsed and the mattress is still good.These are great quality, from the rigidity of the boards themselves to the vinyl covering. They have my vote!

This is fantastic. It's heavy, durable, and provides a nice flat surface on top of my metal bed frame. The only thing I think would improve the design is if the breaks/folds were vertical instead of horizontal. It's not an issue once you get the mattress on the bed, but depending on where your slats fall, if the breaks hit between the slats then it wants to fall into the slats.

Sturdy and fits well
This king bunkie board is in two pieces for easier packaging and handling once opened. Each piece is quite heavy so you can tell there's some quality material in it. I have used it on a platform bed that has slats 3.5 inches apart. My new mattress is recommended to have a maximum of 3 inch separation so I opted to get a bunkie board to add support to it. It was easy to put into place and fit my platform bed perfectly.
