Solid Build & Attractive

These Stone & Egg desktop bookshelves are a winner! I received the 2-pack in the wood-tone color. They are very sturdy and so, so easy to assemble. You just hook the two bars to one of the sides so that the grooves are going downward, then do the same for the other side. Voila! You have a bookshelf in 2 minutes flat.While these are very sturdy and a nice size, I am not too sure about stacking them, especially if you have heavier books. They might be fine for lightweight ones, but still, there are no grips on the bases anywhere the shelves make contact, so they could easily shift. We will not be stacking them, as my husband has textbooks to organize and they are too big to stack, so this issue doesn't affect us. I'm sure you could attach some grippers on the bottom yourself to stabilize the shelves, and it would be more secure.Overall, though, these bookshelves are attractive and well-made. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wood-tone finish and super easy assembly.

Great Space Saver

These things are a lifesaver. They hold a wide variety of book sizes. They are generally easy to put together, as long as you are doing it with the correct sides (made the mistake of trying the wrong way once). They stack well, but will get a high center of gravity and flip easily so make sure something over 3 high is against a wall.

Nice enough, but not safely stackable

These are sturdy and nice enough when they're on a flat surface, but if you stack them there is no way to stabilize them or hold the upper shelf in place. There's not even a groove in the wood. You could easily knock the top off the bottom.
