Excellent product. I recommend!

Excellent product. Paired with a 10" eco foam mattress set into a full-sized daybed and everything came out perfectly. The product is nicely constructed, strong and well-made inside its vinyl zip covers. I'm glad I read about these because I do think they are needed to support any mattress that sits on slats, even if the slats are plenty and spaced a few inches apart. So thanks to other buyers who mentioned bunkie boards in comments; I'd never heard of them before and am very happy to have taken their advice with the addition to my new daybed and mattress. I recommend this product. For the bed I chose, it fits down inside the frame onto a support lip that holds the screwed in slats, it sits right on top of the slats and the sizing is perfect.

Good quality bunkie boards to preserved your mattress from sagging

These are great boards for mattress support. We put them on a king size metal 10" slat low profile bed frame and they are amazing. I believe we will have more life out of our hybrid king mattress (Mambrc king). We did duct tape the bunkie boards down on the frame before placing and cutting open our mattress. They will slide around if you have to reposition the mattress after it expands. Something that might be helpful for someone else.

Work well but very hard to keep in place when adding the mattress

These are pretty thick and sturdy-- the package is really heavy and I had to help the delivery driver (a very young girl who was also very tiny) carry it to my garage so my husband could do the rest of the lifting when he got home. The king size is 4 boards that come folded up in one box. It fits the bed frame perfectly with just a little fabric overhang along the edges.It's only connected into 2 pieces, and they do slide around some on the metal frame I got. The part that grips the mattress side doesn't slide around AT ALL. It's hard to get a heavy mattress put on because you really have to center the mattress over the frame and just drop it onto them since you can't really adjust things once the heavy mattress is on top-- which is difficult even with 2 people.I feel the process would've been 10,000 times easier if it was one piece or the 2 sets of boards could be connected somehow. If you have the metal mattress slide stoppers to hold everything in place while you put the mattress on, this might not be a problem.I would HIGHLY recommend getting those as well if you're buying this item. I don't know about the other sizes, but the king size is 4 boards that are connected into 2 sets of 2, which makes it impossible to just slide the mattress onto them without something to hold them in place on a slick metal bed frame.If its just you, or you only have one other person to help, absolutely get those too!

Would recommend!

Love that it was no assembly required! It’s been effective as we bought it for my daughter’s floor bed to avoid mold and so far so good! The size is perfect for the full size bed. You can definitely tell a difference with and without it, making the mattress feel slightly more firm but not in a bad way.
