I would buy one of these again.
This looks and works exactly as advertised. It is not super sturdy with solid wood, you get what you pay for. It is reasonably priced for a reason.

Absolute junk, the worst "put it together" furniture I have ever bought. First, the packaging is terrible, the styrafoam exploded and was everywhere and it was so electrically static charged that it stuck to everything and even a vacuum wouldnt suck it up. I spent more time cleaning the pieces than it took to put this together. Second...why in the flying f would u put the letter stickers on every piece where it faces out?? Jesus the person that decided that should be fired as the stickers dont simply come off, nope, look at the picture, at least where i am putting this you cant see it, but just aweful. Third. This is only 6 shelves if you use cds, again look at the picture i have a mix of dvd, games, and blu ray...if you have mostly dvd you will lose a lot of space and even if you have all blu rays i doubt you would get all 6 shelves.Overall DO NOT BUY, i am sure there are better options out there, this thing is garbage
I purchased this to expand my shelving real estate for my Blu-ray collection, but needed something that was shorter than the height of my light switches. The spacing of the shelves is perfect for this, but I should note, that if you want to use all the shelves evenly spaced out, you will not be able to fit DVD cases vertically.Item arrived disassembled and requires construction, but the instructions were very easy to follow and all the pieces fit together nicely. To assemble, you will need a philips screw driver (I used an electric one) and a hammer. Installing the backing is really the only tricky part. Just make sure the nails are straight and do not go through the side of the board, which mine did not.Do not get me wrong, this is definitely what I would call disposable furniture, but for the money, it was exactly what I was expecting and does not look terrible. I saw a few reviews complaining that it was not stable, which is technically correct. It is a rather slim, so this is to be expected, but in fairness, it does come with a wall anchor and adding heavier items to the bottom shelf certainly helps stabilize it.If you have at least a little knack for DIY and keep your expectations in check, I can certainly recommend this for an economic shelving solution. The price is certainly more than fair for what it is.
I see this shelf catching a lot of heat, but I don't completely agree with all of it. My main gripe is the price: For what this is, it's WAY overpriced. Should be around a $25-$30 price range at the MOST. Couple of things:1. ASSEMBLY: Very simple, if you just take your time and don't rush it. I had this together in less than 30 minutes, and it stands just fine (It's NOT stable due to its with and depth...if you plan on putting a bunch of stuff on it, consider using the anchor hardware that comes with it.) Everything aligned just fine, and all the parts fit.2. QUALITY: It's your typical, low-quality particle board furniture. VERY easily ruined if you force any of the hardware or nails from the back. Be careful!3. APPEARANCE: It looks fantastic, and does a great job of storing my CD's, which is the exact reason I bought this thing.4. MISCELLANEOUS: The stickers were a pain to remove. You might need GooGone, or something similar to get the sticker gunk off. Unfortunately, they're right on the front of the pieces, so they'd be in plain view. BE CAREFUL when you're tacking the backing piece into the shelves! If you miss, you're going to split the particle board wide open.5. SUMMARY: I like how this looks, and it does what I need it to. I do NOT, however, think it's worth the asking price. If you look around, you can find something similar that's more reasonably priced, I'm sure. The risk of particle board stuff is the longevity; if it gets constantly moved around, it probably won't last. And, there ya have it...my rambling review of...a shelf. :)
Great CD rack! Not really a DVD/Blu-Ray/Steelbook holder, predrilled holes do NOT line up correctly. We tried many different ways to make it work... Nope. A little wobbly until you place stuff on the shelfs. -1 ⭐for the stability issues. Overall, it did fine as a CD shelf, NOT a DVD/Blu-Ray/Steelbook holder. It fit well, we bought it in White, looks great.
This is very cheap. I guess I should have read more reviews. I just saw it was the size I need but it is terrible. Directions are just pictures which no big deal but the turn of one of those little , heck forgot the name but the screw just ripped all the cheap particleboard or whatever it is. I am not very strong so it wasn’t my strength that broke it. It’s just that cheap. Returning the item. I gave it two stars because at least they have a UPS pick up so I don’t have to take it to a location, which is always a pain in the butt. I’m so bummed cause really wanted to set this up. It’s the perfect size but will definitely find a stronger more durable product.
Completely perfect for my needs. I ended up buying a second one because I loved it so much. It fits my DVD collection and video games nicely. It looks very pretty. I can see why some people might find this unsteady but I found it to be nice and sturdy. For people who are worried about it being too flimsy there are a couple of tips that I use putting together this type of furniture which might be helpful. I put wood glue in between the pieces when I am putting them together. I also buy extra of the short nails and add them to the back so that it has more than the normal amount of nails holding the backing on. I also am putting glue between the backing and the particle board before I put the nails. I then let it dry for 24 hours before I put anything on the furniture. I have found that this simple and inexpensive extra step really helps to make my particle board furniture pieces last longer.
