Needed extra space for shoes in my closet. Very easy to assemble and sturdy. Measurements were accurate and fit perfectly where I needed it to. Bought a smaller one to fit on top, and happy with the way it turned out.
Storage space comes at a premium so its nice to have smaller pieces that can fit under desks, in corners, and in smaller rooms without intruding on the existing space. This bookcase is a nice little piece that has a clean look to it while being useful for smaller items or displays. The bookshelf was easy to assemble as it only took about 15 minutes to do; the hardest part was nailing the backing into place straight (for some reason I can never get it right on the first shot, thankfully they include a bunch of nails to help out). I'm not too happy that the shelves can only hold about 10 lbs. each and I'm not about to test it as they're only held held together with 2 screws each per side; no dowels for support, no locks & pins, etc. I'm not sure how many books I'd trust on this thing but I'm going to do my best to keep them lighter. The wood itself appears to be decent quality, there was no splitting or breaking when I assembled & tightened everything together. The unit is stable with no wobble or sway to it so I'm confident it will hold upright with no leaning over time.OVERALL: A-This is a straight-forward simple 2-tier "book" shelf. It'd personally like to see an extra screw per shelf as it might account for an extra 5 lbs. or so of support so I wouldn't have to worry about my cats jumping on it and breaking it but they're very clear from the start and don't make any claims of anything outlandish. Its a little on the pricey side at $30+ as you can find similar stuff from Walmart or Target for at least $5-10 cheaper. But I don't see this color (dark brown with black flecks) at big box stores all that often so I guess that could justify the slightly higher cost. Still, its a good shelving unit and I'm happy to give it a place in our home.
Good solid shelf! Please note on my Pic there is no back on the shelf- this was intentionally left off... just my daughters personal preference. We added this to her laundry room and it is the perfect size. It stores plenty and was super easy to assemble. The shelves are strong and stable, no wobble noted. The only reason it didn't get the whole 5 stars, is the price point. It's priced on the higher side for the original price. On a price point of poor, fair, good or excellent...I would say it's a fair value.

While expected at thisprice-point it is worth mentioning and that it is not a very durable wood or laminate.the shelf’s cube’s depth is shallow and limiting though standard for most bookshelves that are lessexpensive (and many that are not.)The Wrap-Up- The bookshelf is a simple, inexpensive, and easy to assemble. The asymmetrical cube sizes adds versatility to storage options and style. The bookshelf is not extremely durable but is expected at this price which is a good value for an interesting spin on a standard bookshelf.
I can’t believe how quick I put this together. It was just two sides that screwed into the top, bottom and two shelves and then hammer little nails into the back for the backboard. Such quickly assembly and a great classic looking shelf.The shelves don’t adjust though so you have to think about what sized books or items you would be putting on these shelves. They didn’t fit my homeschooling text books for my kiddos so I’m using it for reading books instead. So pay attention to the shelf height. They are roughly a little more than 9.5” high.It doesn’t take up much room and so it can fit most anywhere without taking over the space which is what is great about this bookshelf. Well built and sturdy.
