No lumbar support, pillows far too big

I was looking forward to getting this chair, and was extremely disappointed when I found that every possible configuration causes horrible back pain. The pillows are far too thick and cause me to contort strangely, and when I removed them, I found that the chair back itself is straight as a board. It's a shame, because the materials are good and sturdy, but I can't use the chair at all and had to give it to someone else. Now I'm back on the hunt for a chair that won't destroy my spine.

The order came one time. The chair was exactly as pictured. It did need to be put together and the only issue I feel with the chair was that the footrest doesn't feel as though it's sturdy enough To hold someone Whose weight ranges on the Higher end of the limitations of the chair, it just feel like they're not as durable as they should be although I have had no issues with the chair at all and certainly love the color.
