Easy to Assemble, Very Sturdy Boxspring with Added Advantage of Disassembly, If Needed

Initially, I was skeptical of ordering a full-size boxspring from Amazon, but should it not meet my standards, returning would be easy. My spouse found it, so I didn’t read the description, but I assumed it would be a typical boxspring – wooden construction with fabric covering. She didn't mention that it said, "Easy Assembly." I was surprised when she said there was no extra shipping or delivery charge. Well, was I surprised when a box about 9” x 9” x 30” marked “Heavy” was left on my porch. When assembled, it’s a steel spaceframe with a fabric cover. While there are numerous metal pieces and a bag of screws, it assembles quickly. The outer skeleton is assembled first using the supplied screws and hex key, and the crossbars are simply snapped into place. I’m very handy, but I was surprised at how quickly it assembled. The cover slips on easily and the elastic corner straps hold it in place. As I was assembling it, I was struck with the thought that this makes moving easy – pull of the cover and disassemble the spaceframe. No bulky boxspring with which to contend. Assembled size is just over 53" wide (about 1" less than standard full-size mattress width) but is almost 75" in length (standard full-size mattress length). The dimensional differences surprised me until I thought about it. The slightly reduced width may be intended to prevent running your shin into the metal edge. It's not sharp but might be a little painful if directly bumped. Assembled, it is sturdy, very sturdy. It was priced at less than half the price of a traditional boxspring on sale at a local store. I ran into an easily solved issue of placing it on a metal bedframe. Initially, it tended to slide around just a little, but I fastened the two frames together with a few heavy-duty zip ties – no movement now. I rated it a 5-star buy for several reasons – easy to assemble, quality construction, less than half price of a traditional boxspring, thoughtful design to prevent bruises, and it can be disassembled, if desired. My view of a quality boxspring has been forever changed, and I saved a bunch of money.

Full Size Bed Frame

I was skeptical at first, when I purchased this there were no reviews, I took a chance (30 day return helped) and I'm glad I did. This was easy to assemble, very sturdy, so far does not squeak, and came with a cover. I have no complaints about the frame. The cover however, could be a bit better, it stretches over the frame with bands at each corner, kind of like a mattress cover (it does not zip around and cover the frame completely). I like this because it makes it easy to wash, but I don't like it because of dust collecting underneath. Other then this I would recommend this frame.

Very Affordable and Decent Quality

Only reason I’m giving 4 stars, is because one of the side structure bars was noticeably bent, damaged. We had already unboxed all pieces, and decided to put it together. It was not difficult to assemble, and came with supporting tools. Unlike other reviews, we’ve tested it out and it feels sturdy with no sound when we sit or lay on the bed. Very good buy!
