almost identical to the one that came with my chair.
i got the "(155° Tilt Control Back Cushion)" one since that's pretty much the one that came with my "ARTETHYS Gaming Chair(elecwish is the OG name)". the one that was on my chair had eventually cracked in various spots where the gas lift cylinder slots into and wobbled badly because of it i had to replaced the cylinder since it was messed up because of the base being cracked and wobbling around. granted on that chair it's all suppose to be rated for 330lbs... the new cylinder i got is rated for 450lbs and this base "suppose" to be 1000lbs. i don't know how accurate these weight ratings are. but the one on my chair lasted almost 3 years(probably more like 2 years 6 months) before i noticed the wobble to be really bad and had to recently replace both. so if this base last's over 3 years, then i'm happy with it.wasn't too hard to replace, the hardest part is getting the gas cylinder out of the base without destroying the cylinder, had to extend it then hit the old cracked base with a hammer in a triangle pattern to eventually get it off. once it was off i was able to use the same screws and everything on my chair. the only difference is the back rest piece, it's slightly different and only has 3 screw holes instead of 4, but it went on fine either way. so far it's been a very stable sit and the raising and tilting back has been fine. but only had it together for a couple hours. if it messes up i'll edit this post about it.overall, feels like it's solid, being $67 when i got it... a little pricey for what it is, but at least i don't have to buy a whole new $165-$200 chair.

It fit the GTPlayer gaming chair I bought a few years ago.
On my GTPlayer gaming chair I had a gas piston go out on me, and it wouldn't come out of the base (yikes!), so I had to buy both a gas piston and a new chair base - and this is a perfect match for what I had before.Do I recommend it? Well, it fits, and we'll see what the durability is like in another year or two. If it breaks I'll come back to change my review to something nasty and mean, but for now it's working.

MEASURE BEFORE YOU BUY
I did end up returning it, but the quality felt great! I failed to measure the part I was replacing, and it did not line up as needed. It is a great deal if it fits your chair. Already comes assembled.

Broke in less than 4 months.
I replaced the base of my chair because the previous one had broken after two years, but the rest of the chair was perfectly fine. After a couple of months with this new one, I noticed that it was reclining too much and when I flipped it over and saw the entire mechanism was warped and squashed and broken. The unit that came with the chair broke along the welds on the other side of the mechanism, this one just simply crushed itself after 3 months of semi-regular use.

Different bracket but got it to work.
This was not an exact replacement for my gaming chair. Quality wise, it seems like the original, though. The mounting holes have different locations and it's a little bit shorter. Other than that, it seems the same. I decided to take a chance on this anyway and it worked out well. I pulled the upholstery back. Drilled new holes in the plywood seat and used t-nuts to secure the new bracket. I made sure to line it up so it would match the backrest as well. The chair feels like just it did before it broke. Hopefully, the repair lasts.

Exact match to old parts will break in same place.
Yes it fits my gamming chair in fact it looks like it came from the same manufacture. claiming it will support 1000 pounds is a Lie this is the same one that came with the original chair I bought and they claimed 500 pounds. The break at the Exact same place every time. I am on my third or fourth chair yes I am a decent size guy at 220 pounds but still this should not break within a year or two like they seem to do every time. I have bought insurance in the past on the chairs when I bought them.I think from now on I will buy the insurance for the chair then when its a year old and failing have them send me a new chair for free then also buy a new base and the insurance for it then I will always have 2 chairs ready to go.

Works great on day 1. Will update if needed
On day 1, it works great. It feels sturdier than the last drop-in mechanism I tried and it's arguably better than both that and my original mechanism. The recline lock has given me no issues so far and gives me a lot more freedom, as my last mechanism only locked in the upright position and the original mechanism supported 3 fixed positions. If the mechanism lasts, it'll be worth the money. If it doesn't, this review will be updated.
