It's fuzzy! I didn't realize that just looking at the pictures. It's just the size for my toddler. He loves it, though he refuses to use it as a chair. It's proper state is unfolded, in his opinion. No assembly was required. It just needed a bit of time to recover from being vacuum packaged. It seems to be good quality, and I expect it to wear well. You could potentially disassemble the cover material from the inner foam to machine wash it, which is a good option to have (though that seems like it would be a pain). Also, the zipper you would have to unzip to remove the cover has a flap of cloth that forever wants to get caught. I found this chair at a very good price.
