Overall solid stylish bench

Very easy to assemble by myself. Took maybe 30 mins, but with 2 ppl could probably take 15 mins. The overall look is just as described. Great addition to my entryway. I’m docking one star mainly because there were some chipped parts on the wood. Nothing extremely noticeable but could tell the material preparation was a bit rushed. Overall quality is decent and feels sturdy. You get what you pay for and I’m satisfied!

Low Quality Bench

I am not at all satisfied with this bench. The two end pieces - essentially the legs - are made from individual pieces of wood that are connected with dovetail joints. The joints started to come apart as I was assembling. During assembly, I inserted each screw and turned them once or twice to hold them in place. Once assembly was more or less complete, I slowly tightened all the screws. One of the screws going into the bench top split the wood and it will not tighten. I could pre-drill small blocks of wood and screw them into the frame to cinch up the dovetail joints. Also, I could maybe use plastic wood to repair the piece that split, but that would require disassembly, and perhaps a longer screw. I do not recommend this bench. And beware, there are benches under other brand names that look like exact duplicates of this one.
