This table and chairs set is really cute, and I love the child-safe design—no sharp edges, all smooth. Plus, it doesn't take up much space to store, which is a big plus. Assembling it was a bit tricky, not super easy to just follow the steps, but not impossible either. Overall, it's cute, sturdy, and versatile.
High quality, beautiful design, and very functional. It fits perfectly in our playroom and my child uses it every day.
You might want to do additional DIY to make surfaces safer. Cheap, low-quality soft wood with some random cracking, rough wood edges risking slivers into skin. Also because of non-smooth wood and divots into the wood that isn't even properly varnished— especially on the rough edges my advice is use a plastic placemat for eating and messy activities otherwise GERMS and STAINING will happen - Impossible to clean germs. Also in the seat area if you are using the lowest and middle seat height— there is more rough, unfinished wood with high chance for slivers, germs and of clothing ribs on it - it will probably catch on any fabric besides possibly good denim. Directions are minimal. The bolts are sturdy because they screw into metal. I would recommend washers though to keep the thinner bare wood on the other side from possibly cracking. Because it’s sturdy - I am going to sand the edges and varnish it again. Tip: If you are confused about where the three rectangular boards fit - just line up the bolt holes first. I thought I would try this out for my nephew who is in the age range of this toy.It is cute but my niece had some difficulty trying to put it together. The instructions were difficult to understand she said and I had to help her figure it out. But after it was all assembled I thought it turned out nice and feels sturdy.It has a desk type piece and a chair. The deal is adjustable and can grow with your child. It is a nice thing to have in the babies room and I like that it teaches him how to sit and sit at a desk.The wood feels solid and it did include all the hardware needed to assemble. I like how the chair tucks nicely away under the desk area. The whole setup doesn't take up too much space either. It's not too heavy and easy to move around the house.It is a good place for him to sit and do activities and even to eat. A good place for meals or snacks. The wood feels sealed and is easy to clean using a damp cloth and letting air dry.I would recommend this because it is pretty well made and functional. It has many uses and can be used everyday. If you don't like or have trouble with assembling things then I would not recommend this because my niece had a hard time with it.
