Excellent Foot Stool for a Great Price
I purchased this to use as a foot stool when I'm sitting at my stand up desk. The bar around my chair is uncomfortable to use for longer periods of time. I really wasn't expecting much for the price, but I was very pleased. This is way sturdier than I anticipated. It's great for storing my notebooks and other things that normally clutter my desk. The material feels like good quality. It looks really nice and was really easy to assemble. I don't know if I would use it as a stool. It's sturdy, but not necessarily full grown adult sturday. For kids? 100% sturdy enough. I love it and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Well made, practical multipurpose use for storing and resting feet.
I needed something with padding on the top to rest my feet in a small sitting area. What I was using was a hard stool and a pillow always fell off. This offered the solution of a comfortable, padded foot rest and storage for miscellaneous items I keep by the chair. It is nicely put together, the padded top, etc. I read where some said it did not last but often people will use something not for what it was intended or built for. I would NOT sit on this or try and stand on it. It is built for just the weight of your feet resting on it which does not put that much stress on it. This item has ample support to take that kind of use. I do love being able to hide my books, yarn, magazines, etc inside, leaving my space looking neater. I wish I had ordered the fog blue because the gray is way too light, and looking at my chair, against the gray ottoman, the fog blue probably would have gone with it better since the chair is not a solid gray. The wrong choice in color was my bad. I am just very happy with it and it meets my needs nicely. If the need arose, I would buy another, recommend it to others. It would make a nice gift to someone, but inform them of it correct use. I know people try things that some items were not made for. Kids may play hard on it, etc. I would take that into consideration when reading the 1 star reviews where they say the lid broke. I think it had help from the purchaser.

Handy Storage Ottomans Which Fold Down
To make our TV watching time cozier in our living room, I ordered two of these storage ottomans. My husband and I can put our feet up while viewing a movie or a game, which is a great way to relax. There's enough room to store a lightweight blanket or two or other miscellaneous items; another plus.The set up is super-quick. Doesn't even take a minute to accomplish. The main drawback for me is that the color isn't a true red. Instead, it's like a dark raspberry. We have lipstick or cherry red as an accept color in our living room, and that's what I thought I was getting with these ottomans. I didn't want to get boring black, so had gone with the red shade. Which turned out not to be a true red.It's disappointing, but for the price, I think I'll keep them and make it work. There isn't any discernable smell, so no concerns there. The price point offers a solid value. They fold down readily, and yet once assembled they are sturdy enough to hold weary feet / legs without issue. The velvet fabric is of a nicer quality than I might have expected, so that's also a plus.There are only two things which would be an improvement. The first would be some kind of handles to move the ottoman around when it's full. The other would be a better color rendering.

You have to fold it out and put the base in. It comes flat but it’s pretty solid. It’s so easy and takes one second to unfold and put the base in. It’s like particleboard wood it’s pretty hard inside the walls. Not super sturdy compared to furniture but it’ll hold your feet. Idk if I’d sit on it. and it is fairly low but good for a low chair. I got it for my boneless loveseat. Might want a higher stool for a typical chair. Certainly better than no foot stool. Nice little storage thing. Too low to eat a plate off of or work on. They gave me a nice little gift, this seller did.

Hot Pink and Perfect - just not Amazon packaging!
I love this folding foot stool. I ordered 2 originally and they came in a box. In excellent condition! I decided I needed one more so I ordered it. It came not in a box but in the plastic mailing envelope. It was tight. After its trip thru the warehouse and then on the truck all day long it got pushed around and scraped up on one of the corners of the packaging to where the plastic was torn off and even thru the plastic wrapping of the foot stool itself. There is a small blemish but it is not the manufactures issue. I love this stool and have determined I can live with the small blemish and it is not worth the return. This is just for buyer beware.I am using this foot stool in my camper for storage of towels and paper products. It is the perfect size. I have 6 rolled up bath towels and 2 hand towels with room for another hand towel and 2-3 wash cloths in the one that is open. The other one has 6 folded up beach towels. They are larger and thicker than the bath towels. In this 3rd one will put extra toilet paper and paper towels/napkins which can sit behind the others and the blemish will never be seen and only I know it is there and well now you know too.As for sturdiness for someone sitting on it like in one of the pictures in the add, I dont know because I have not tried it myself. I never did find a weight rating on it.Bottom line, I feel this stool with perfect for what I am using it for. Definitely super easy to assemble, and I believe worth the money and sturdy enough for my storage use. My cats (one is 7#'s the other is 9#'s) may use it as a bed :-) does that count for sturdiness? LOL
