Absolutely love this. It’s not especially large, but it works beautifully in the small space that I had for it. Well put together, solidly made, and beautifully finished. I feel like it was a great value for my space.
This is so wonderful. Just as described. I got this altar table to help organize my Buddha devotion. This is very practical because the smaller top-piece can be used if you just want to use that, or both--they aren't fixed on each-other. I highly recommend.
Was a lot smaller than expected but I should’ve read closer. That’s not why it’s getting less stars though. The wood feels joined cheaply like they were trying to make as many as possible. The wood has a greasy finish that made me immediately want to wash my hands. Left them to sit out and it was the same feeling 24hrs later. Thankfully, when I did a tissue test (rubbing a white tissue to see how much color comes off, there was just a little bit. Which I guess is probably normal for stained wood. But it would’ve been cool if they sealed it. I worry about wearing anything other than black clothes when using this.
First off, these are really beautiful, high quality shelves. I know they are advertised as altar tables and I can imagine these would be beautiful as altars. I am not using mine as altars, but as small shelves. They look beautiful on counters and dressers and I can put my candles, picture frames and other little display items on these shelves. They are solid wood, a very nice size (sizing posted is accurate) but I don't see how they would be big enough as a table for the floor. They would be way too low and not big enough to be used as a table or coffee table. In terms of assembly, there is none! I love no assembly! I didn't realize this from the pictures, but they are also two separate shelves, which I love. I thought they were somehow attached and one solid wood table, but they are two separate shelves and I've set them up separately. Again, these truly are beautiful and high quality.
Very small. It’s not what I’m expected.
First, I want to address expectations. This product says it’s made of wood, provides measurements, and indicates it is not stain resistant. That leaves me with an understanding that if I want this to last, I’m purchasing a small can of clear finish (and it’ll still cost less than the competitors).Yes, there are others selling this same-sized set and both are more expensive. If you want mango wood, you’ll pay $100. I grew up on 10 acres and we cut wood every year. This isn’t the lowest end. You see variances and veining that are typical with wood. Some areas are smoother than others, that will be improved with a sealant. Or people need to buy plastic or more expensive pieces. Wood is wood. There’s beauty in the imperfections. But, there are no imperfections by the manufacturer.It was well packaged, met the description details verbatim, and I even took a level to test its quality. I looked for a problem and not only can’t I find one - this actually would be my #1 pick out there for overall value.I highly recommend this product! That’s my unbiased opinion.
Flexibility gives this the fifth star. You can use the two together or use them separately. There is nothing to do as far as assembly, open the box and you are good to go. Size means you can add this to a table or use it on the floor. When you combine with a candle or picture frames it creates a nice subtle but effective decoration. Mind you, these are not load bearing tables so a modicum of care as to not overload is needed. All in all a calming and attractive little package.
