These chairs are a good color, very sturdy, and large. I can sit cross legged in them. They are the size of a couch when put together.They are firm and comfortable isn’t exactly how I would describe them. The bottom cushion is removable and I was very glad for that. They are durable!The shipping is fantastic!You don’t have to build them, just screw the legs on. They come on a pallet and someone calls you to coordinate the delivery so you don’t have to worry about squishing the Amazon delivery driver.They seem to make them when you order them so it takes maybe 2 months to be delivered. This was fine for me.

Look great. Not for sitting.

These chairs look great in our living room. They are not, however, designed to be sat in. The seat is very deep which may work well for those with long legs (6'5" height and up) but for those of us who have never played in the NBA, the seat doesn't work well. I'm 5'11" and I can't sit in the chair with my lower back up against the backrest without my legs sticking straight out. I look silly that way. I have to ignore my mother's admonitions to sit straight if I want to use the backrest. I don't look much better slouching. My only other complaint is that these chairs are as hard as a wood bench without being as comfortable. My guess is that they'll be broken in by December, 2032, if my cat doesn't destroy them sooner. In all fairness though, the fabric seems to be very sturdy (stiff) so the cat may have to work hard. My younger kids seem to like them. Their feet don't reach the ground either so they curl up with a good book and scrunch their knees up under their chins and look as happy as clams. For cushioning they sit on top of a couple of folded blankets to make it tolerable. I heartily recommend these chairs if you have family or neighbors who overstay their welcome. Park their backsides in one of these babies and the visits will be brief. BTW, The three star rating is because my wife likes them ; )

Matching chairs

I see in the chair description 'Upholstered Leather'. This is NOT the case - they are upholstered chairs. We had initially purchased a couch in this style but our store was not able to get us matching chairs. A friend of ours saw these chairs on-line and they looked like an exact match to the couch. It was not the same though. The chairs had more of a blue tint and the couch more of a green shade. The upholstery is similar but not the same either. But as you can see in the second photo, it doesn't really matter. The chairs are on the other side of the room and with the light behind the couch, it works. In fact, I think I rather like it. The seat of the chair is very wide - 27 1/2" and can fit 2 normal size adults next to each other. I've put 2 pillows so our guests can sit back and relax in the semi-comfy 23" cushion chair. I do love the look but I would not want to sit in these chairs every day. We purchased them as extra chairs for company.......that won't stay too long. :)
