This nautical table is well-made and sturdy. It looks great in our family room which is nautically decorated. It is perfect the space and we are very pleased with our purchase.

heavy duty but overpriced

I ordered this for a small office with a pirate/nautical theme. It is heavy duty. The base is solid wood and heavy. The rope stand the same. The "wheel" is wood and fairly nice quality. The glass is thick and beveled but I fail to see a way to attach it to the ship wheel. The only bad part is the cap of the screw that holds the wheel onto the rope base. The cap portion is rusty. Probably due to moisture. I was surprised to find that this shipped in 4 different small boxes from India. It was packed well with lots of styrofoam and bubble wrap. Overall, I am pleased with the stand. I ordered the 18" so it is quite small and I think overpriced for its size. It's more of a novelty item than a functional piece of furniture. Thus, 3 stars.
