Elegant little piece. Perfect size for a narrow entryway. It is actually quite sturdy. Super easy to assemble. The wood grain and the style make it look more expensive than it is. I will say that you can realistically only put two pairs of shoes on each level if you want the shoes to sit flat but that may not bother anyone; you could squeeze in more if you have tiny feet or are using it for kids’ shoes. ;)

The hinge moves smoothly and feels secure when opening and closing.The wood feels sturdy once assembled, and the overall construction seems solid. You can also store multiple pairs of shoes on the open shelf underneath the bench, which helps keep everything organized and off the floor.Assembly took about 30 minutes. The instructions were decent and easy to follow. It does come with tools, but I found it easier to use my own for a quicker install. Once put together, it feels stable and well balanced. An adult could likely sit on it without issue, though it feels especially ideal for children in a busy family entryway.Overall, this is a functional, attractive storage solution that combines seating and organization in one compact piece.
