Replacement Power Recliner Power Supply

When the power goes out or the supply cord fails, you are stuck in a power recliner! I wanted a backup power supply unit for this very purpose. It is compatible to the chair we have and works great! Perfect For When Your Dog Eats Up The Cords!!!!

I have a plug in electric couch and one day it stoped working. I found that my dog ate the cords up to power it up. I did some searching and it seems that most electric couches use the same style electrical connector and I compared mine and is the same so I decided to give this one a try. Not Compatible With My Recliner

I picked up this power supply as a replacement for my power recliner, and while it did fit the main power cord connection, it did not end up working for my setup. The adapter itself seems reasonably well made, and the 29V 2A output matches what many recliners use, but it only covered part of what I needed.On my specific recliner, there is a separate wire and connection for the reclining button, and this adapter did not include anything for that. Because of that, I could not get the chair to respond or move at all. I also noticed that other reviews mention a light indicator showing power, but mine never showed any light at all, so I could not confirm if it was even actually supplying power.Because of the missing connection and no visible sign of power, I ended up needing to find a different adapter that supports both the main power and the control wiring. It may work for simpler setups, but it is worth double checking compatibility before buying.
