Worked Perfectly Over Slatted Frame!
This Queen Bunkie Board worked out great & was exactly what I needed!I just got a new headboard & frame so I needed something for the base to put under the mattress. I had used one of these Bunkie Boards before on another bed for my Grandsons bed quite a few years ago & it worked out really well.You do need to have slats to support the Bunkie boards or it will not stay in place. I didn't want my bed to be super high that is why I opted for this over a foundation base or a huge box spring. With my mattress and frame it is fine. I was missing some slats so I had the local hardware cut me a few more & screwed them into the frame so there would be enough as I have shown in the photo. I made sure to go all along the frame of the bed and support both Bunkie boards.These arrived quickly. For the Queen you do get two boards that equal one Queen sized board. Sizes fit my frame perfectly & is holding up the weight of the mattress without any issues.These are ready to use out of the box as long as your base of the bed has the slats ready...no tools required, just unfold & lay down & place mattress on top. You do need to make sure they are laying in the correct position.Boards are covered with a heavy duty oxford type cloth, well stitched all around that seems pretty durable.Very happy with my purchase! Great value at just under ninety bucks at time of posting this 03/30/26. It's a little cheaper than my local mattress store was & was delivered to my door for free with Amazon Prime...can't beat that!!Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cost-effective & efficient solution! Gotta love Amazon, they truly have EVERYTHING!!
