It is awesome! I really had no problems putting it together. It looks pretty sturdy. I like the idea of just spinning it around to look at the books! Now I have to get it filled up with my books!
This was incredibly easy to assemble both with the instruction manual and the Youtube video, but I highly recommend using both since there’s a step the video has that the manual doesn’t with the screws. I love the design and that it doesn’t take up much room, but it absolutely does not fit anything near 280+ books; I was able to get 101 books on the shelves without focibly squeezing any in. Needless to say, I have a bunch of books that I couldn’t fit on. I’ve included a picture for reference, with my other shelf next to it, and the giant piles of books that didn’t make the shelf cut next to it.Oh, also beware, it’s a bit topheavy.
Great shelf! Initially I thought it was a tad smaller than suggested, but it still holds all it says it should.(I'm using it for dvds and vhs) I have the Rotating part Hella weighed down and it still spins like a dream (unlike similar bookcases I own) and the cabinet is cute and holds quite a bit too. Love that the shelves are customizable. Is very sturdy. My only issue is that none of the parts are labeled (A,B,C, etc.) But it does have a pretty clear diagram. I just wish if they did it like that they'd make the diagram bigger. And also the stickers laid out to place the 5 wheels were askew so I measured with my heart to evenly place them. Otherwise super easy to put together, took me about an hour by myself (because I hand screwed everything with the screwdriver provided) on that note they do provide gloves too.
The tiers do not use screws to connect them, its entirely unattached. It toppled on me and fell apart. Assuming the weight of books would do the job and leaving the pieces unconnected is a horrible design. They attached the shelf stops with screws and the partitions but not the tiers.
Exactly what I needed. Holds two full bookshelves of books and takes us a lot less room. Thank you. A+++ experience.
This was pretty easy and intuitive to build. It's sturdy and saves space.
Pro's: it looks very neat and tidy, was able to put about 20 books on each level (put the heaviest books on the bottom layers), and like that it spins around and does not take up too much space. The directions I got for the bookshelf were in images and it was easy to figure out.Cons: lots of screws to put the bookshelf together, not really the best quality of material (you get what you pay for), the bottom cabinet has a divider in it so for me the bottom cabinet has very limited space.Overall: The cabinet looks very nice once put together. I have bought a second one to give as a gift to someone who needs book storage. I wanted to give a honest review of both the pro's and con's of the bookshelf. I would say for the price of the bookshelf it is worth buying if you need something that will work and looks nice.
