Beautiful, well crafted, easy to assemble
I will start by saying, I loved the first pair so much that i ordered a second set. The fabric on the chairs is beautiful and the chairs are quite sturdy and comfortable. READ THE DIRECTIONS however as it is easy to think all the legs look the same. They are not so just be aware of that. Once assembled - sit in it and wiggle slightly to get the seat to settle on the legs, then tighten the legs up some more.

Great for the price
We bought 4 for our kitchen. No problems for delivery. All parts were neatly packed. Assembly was a bit tricky because the 4 legs on each chair are mounted independently yet tied together at the top under the seat and at the bottom foot rest. My suggestion is to not tighten any screws until you have the chair mostly together, then tighten them one by one slowly. Some times tightening one, will cause other to be too loose or too tight. Be patient and it'll be fine. Once assembled the chairs look beautiful! Nice material and very solid. Great height for our kitchen counter. Really nice for the price. Highly recommended.Update: there's stools are holding up well after a year. But, the bolts will back out with time. I highly recommend that you use Blue Loktite when you assemble the chairs to prevent this from happening.

Roll the dice, your stools may be decent or pure garbage
I put together the first stool easily enough and without issues, though I noticed that the holes on the bottom of the chair are not properly aligned. It didn't feel too sturdy to sit in, but it wasn't too bad and it sure looks pretty. The little foot caps to prevent scratching the floor immediately got stripped and left shavings of the cheap paint on my floor, though. When I tried assembling the second one, not all the screws would go in -- I screwed in the legs successfully (the holes on the second stool were even more unaligned than the first stool), the foot rest screws would remain loose and fall out, AND it scratched up the inside of the legs. When I started over and managed to tighten the foot rest screws, the inner screws on the legs would not tighten AT ALL -- flipped the stool around as a sanity check and 3 of the leg screws just fell right out.Wasted 2 hours disassembling and reassembling this one stool hoping to make it work, and clearly it's just not well-constructed. Don't waste your time or money on this piece of junk.

Nice stools, but …
OK, at the end of the day, these are pretty ice stools. Very mid century modern, which is what we were after. Very lightweight, but surprisingly sturdy. The price was good too. However, be aware to two important considerations: First, these are NOT counter height stools. They are bar height, for certain. Even so, they still worked for out kitchen island. Would be better a couple inches shorter, but they work. Second, putting these stools together is like wrestling an octopus. Very challenging to get the brace bar between the 4 legs. Very easy to end up scratching the legs. It really is a two man job. If you can live with the “higher-than-advertised” height … and a challenging build, then these stool are a good buy.

Product is OK but don't expect much from customer service.
Firstly, the product itself is OK. The stools are a little on the flimsy side, but that is because of the minimalist look of the stools and how slim the legs are. I'm 180 lbs and was concerned that they would break under my weight, but I've gotten used to them and they seem to be holding up ok, even though I feel like I'm going to break them everytime I get out of them. I ordered these to replace the 30" bar height stools that were too high for our countertop bar, and they are just slightly too high still, measuring actually 28". Luckily, our countertops are a bit higher, at 36.5". Its bearable, and I like how they look, so we'll keep them. The customer service is slow. Based on other reviews, I was concerned there would be missing pieces, and unfortunately, there were. I ordered 2 sets (4 stools total), but only received 2 sets of hardware. Simpli Home has two numbers listed for customer service, the first one is NOT Simpli Home. The second number is Simpli Home, and an automated message will inform you that you can submit an online parts request through their website, which is what I did for my missing hardware pieces. About 2 days after submitting the parts request online, I received an e-mail from one of their customer service reps stating that they had received my request, but that it was a Friday and their hours were only M-F. And so started the slow back and forth via e-mail from Simpli Home telling me that they had processed my request, that they were fulfilling my request, and finally that they had shipped my request. I confirmed via e-mail that I needed TWO sets of hardware, just to be sure. The customer service rep confirmed that they had sent the hardware in quantity TWO. I received my package yesterday, and lo and behold, it is only one set of hardware. We will see how long it takes to get another set of hardware. From initial parts request to receipt of package was SEVENTEEN DAYS!

Lovely chairs, but assembly is a bit tricky
Love the style of these chairs, the color really adds some life to my mostly gray apartment! I will say, I thought the color of the legs was going to be slightly lighter than they ended up being. They showed up as more of a red oak, but looked (at least on my screen) like more of an ash or pine color. But I’m still happy with them. Assembly: woof. The instructions will literally tell you attach all of the legs to the seat and then STRETCH THE LEGS to fit the metal bottom piece. I thought I was going to break the legs right off the chair trying to attach the final piece. I also scratched up the legs a little bit trying to fit it in there. So, when I put together the second chair, I went reverse with the instructions and found it to be a lot easier - Attached the metal bar to all of the legs first then just lined the holes up in the chair. Great chairs once assembly is over!
