Stops chair from sinking! This is a product I didn't know existed and now can't live without.

Over the years the biggest problem I have had with my desk chairs is sinking. These little things have stopped the sink!I would have liked if they'd included a little piece of paper showing how to install them, but I worked it out. I know there's instructions in the listing, but included in the box would be better.Once I worked it out, it only took a minute to get the first one attached. Then a few minutes of trial and error to work out which height feels right, and which of the rings to apply to get that height. Overall, probably 5 minutes total work. Super easy. So much easier than trying to replace the gas lift. I tried that once and could not get the old lift out of the base. If I'd've had these back then, I wouldn't have had to buy a new chair!The rings come with a set if little zip ties. Once you lock a ring set around the lift pole, the overlapping ears on the sides have a hole that lines up you can push a zip tie through. This holds that ring in place while you install another. I kept knocking the first one loose while trying to put the second set on, until I worked out that's what the zips were for.The different ring heights mean you can combine them for a huge variety of lift height. And they're easy to adjust, just remove or add more rings.The rings are solid, have no real flex, and seem like they will last at least as long as this chair. Probably be able to use them on the next one too!Totally, absolutely, worth the current $12 asking price!
