Very nice

I’m honestly very happy with this bed frame and didn’t expect to like it this much for the price. I bought the Twin size and have been using it for a while now, so I feel like I can give a proper detailed review.First, the packaging and delivery were great. The box arrived well-sealed and nothing was damaged or missing. All parts were neatly organized and clearly labeled, which immediately gave me a good first impression. The instructions were simple and easy to follow, even if you’re not experienced with assembling furniture.Assembly was surprisingly easy. We REALLY like this bed frame!We've gone through 3 different twin beds for our daughter. Two of those were platform loft beds, she wont sleep on them. One was too tall. She stored toys and stuffed animals up there. So we got a shorter one. It felt weird, she said.We went with a much less expensive foldable frame (a guest bed) and you know what? It makes too much noise.The princess and the pea!!!!So I just put her mattress on the floor. That worked and she sleeps on it. But she got older and her room got bigger stuff like a vanity, a bean bag she wanted, a dollhouse a while ago. I had to figure something out. I wanted - actually she NEEDED something with storage and I wasnt willing to spend upwards of $200-300 for another experiment. I thank my lucky stars I was able to get this frame!!!!Its sturdy - it doesn't make any noise when she gets in an out.There is storage underneath, totally works for the totes of toys she has.Her fancy gel foam mattress fits on top. I put a twin size piece of wood underneath it because I sweatergawd if she told me she could feel the slats under her mattress I was going to lose my mind!Putting it together was so easy too. If I could build a loft bed, I could handle a simple bed frame. Took me under 2 hours to clean out her room, assemble to frame, add the wood, add her mattress, get it in place and make the bed. AND move the rest of her room around so it looked like the kid has a normal room rather than sleeping on the floor like a flopper.Totally worth the money. Its around $120 at thr time of this review. Its a little more expensive than other options on Amazon but this is the one I put together and this is the one I'm in love with. If I had known all along this was what I needed, I could have saved hundreds of dollars.

Solid and fits well

For a simple frame for a mattress this one does a good job. The instructions were simple and straightforward. It did not take long to assemble it. It may have taken nearly as long to unbox it as every part is individually wrapped in plastic for protection. The tools provided were adequate and got the job done but if you have them available it will make your life a little easier if you have a ratchet or a wrench and a higher quality Allen wrench.I have a large tent on a piece of property I own where I spend as much time as I can. The design of this frame allows me to take up the same footprint as just having the mattress on the floor but now gives me storage space underneath the mattress. I got the 16 inch version and it makes getting up so much easier than when the mattress was on the floor. The slats are only a few inches apart and support the mattress well without the need for box springs.The instructions say not to tighten anything until all parts are assembled. I did this but in one corner I found there was a certain order I had to tighten the bolts. I had to loosen them a couple of times and change the order I tightened them to get everything in place properly but eventually everything settled into place nicely. The mattress I have fit perfectly but some may vary in size a little. The four clips that hold the mattress in place are not very secure. They have holes in them that I thought should have set screws but none were provided and they will slide around easily or in some instances pop off. The mattress sits entirely on top of the frame so to keep the mattress securely in place the clips should be either bigger or have something holding them in place. For me this was the only design flaw which cost it 1 star.The picture in the product description is exactly what you get.
