Sturdy white twin platform bed with great storage space.

This twin platform bed is a practical choice for anyone needing extra room and a simple setup. It has a clean white finish that works well enough since the bedding hides most of the frame anyway. One of the best features is the sixteen inch height which provides a lot of clearance for storage bins. Having that much open space underneath is perfect for keeping a small room organized and reminds me of a functional dorm style layout. The frame is sturdy and does not make any squeaking or rattling noises when you move around on it.​The design is especially helpful for taller people. My son is six feet tall and he used to have issues with his toes getting stuck in the bars of his old footboard. Since this frame has a low profile with no footboard or headboard included he can finally sleep without feeling cramped. He mentioned that it feels very comfortable and solid. I really like that the legs have built in spots to attach a custom headboard later. It gives you the flexibility to change the look of the room whenever you want without buying a whole new bed.​Putting the frame together was a manageable task though it required some patience. The directions were straightforward for the most part but I did have to flip a few pieces around after realizing I put them on the wrong way. It was not the easiest assembly I have ever done but it was far from the hardest. Once everything is bolted down the unit feels very durable and high quality. This is a great value for a simple metal frame and I highly recommend it for a guest room or a teenager. There is a lot of extra support to keep this sturdy.

Sturdy bed frame

My spouse and I have been working on setting up a guest room so we can have our grandchildren here for sleepovers. We wanted a frame low enough so that they could easily climb into and out of bed on their own, but we also needed to make sure there was room for storage containers underneath the bed. This 12 inch frame seemed like a good choice.The frame came mostly disassembled with pictorial instructions, hardware and tools to put it together. There are a lot of pieces, but most of them are cross bars. It was a bit difficult to assemble this frame—mostly because there were no written step-by-step instructions. We had to figure out from the pictures how it all went together. It was also hard to get the holes in the frame lined up to bolt them in place. I could have done it myself, but it would have taken a lot longer and been more frustrating than it was with one of us holding the parts together and the other turning the wrench. I was not a fan of using an Allen wrench to tighten the bolts, because there were so many it made my hands hurt after a while.Features of this frame that I really like include: The manufacturer included enough bolts and other parts so that there were actually one of each left over. There are rounded legs at the foot of the bed that keep me from hurting my feet or shins if I run into them at night. A bar at the bottom of those legs keeps them spaced properly if you do. There are four movable brackets that help keep your mattress from shifting. There is plastic lining the slots for each slat, so they don’t squeak when you shift on the mattress as with other bed frames I have used. The frame is high enough that I can easily slide storage containers underneath.What I didn’t prefer was the color. I thought I would like the white metal, but it shows chips or scratches in the finish more easily than my black frames do. Since the frame will be hidden with a dust ruffle and/or bedspread, this won’t matter a whole lot, but it was a bit disappointing. I’m not sure it’s a good deal to pay over $100 for a twin bed frame, either. However, for the most part, I am happy with this product.
