Great Box Spring Design, Very Easy to Put Together, Very Durable and Well Built!

This queen box spring is a fantastic upgrade at a great price. It uses a modern slatted metal design instead of traditional springs, which makes it slightly firmer but completely noise-free, no creaking, no sagging, and no boards snapping over time. Assembly was surprisingly simple, just a handful of screws and nuts, and the frame unfolds and goes together quickly with clear instructions. Once built, it feels very sturdy yet remains lightweight enough to move if needed. The included fabric cover gives it a clean, finished look. It fits perfectly in our existing bed frame, supports both my wife and me (plus a kid who loves jumping on the bed), and hasn’t shown a hint of weakness so far. SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED!! - Do NOT gloss over this as I did. This is a sturdy item. Metal box spring as opposed to wood. When it's delivered you're thinkning "there's no way this item is in that box", but it is. I completely glossed over the assembly thing. Lots of screws. Most basic of tools sent to get the job done. HIGHLY RECOMMEND a battery powered driver with an allen attachment. The images I've seen posted here aren't what we received. We received what's actually advertised. Box springs don't actually have springs.. And they're not intended to be comfortable.. Some of the complaints here are whack-a-doodle. It's a mattress lifter/spacer,, that's all.

Great Deal, sturdy build but only 1/2 cover & need additional tools to speed up build

Super solid once built however definitely recommend 2 people/ a better wrench than the one included- the self locking nuts & wrench included not holding them in place make it a longer process than anticipated to get all screwed in (you have to aggressively stabilize the nut in place against one side while using the Allen key to twist the screw with a lot of pressure on the other.) it’s definitely not coming loose on its own though. The only other complaint I have would be that the cover is only one sided so the metal frame on the bottom & your bed frame may scrape against each other. Overall great for the price, very clear instructions, just takes a little prep and additional tools on hand

Bunkie Board 101: Read the reviews, take the lessons offered.

This bunkie board (not a box spring) is an excellent product. Assembly was very easy at less than 30 minutes by myself. Another review noted that the slats fell out during placement on the bed. I can see how that might happen but mine did not fall out. They fit snugly in-place and stayed there as two of us handled the product and laid it on the bed support. I assembled the product in the bedroom and we did not attempt to maneuver the piece upside down, did not shake it and did not tilt it too far in the placement process. Five minutes max. Between the supporting metal bed base and the bunkie board I placed a mover's packing blanket to avoid the metal on metal slippage and noise that might occur while sleeping.

NOT WORTH THE AGGRAVATION

I bought a queen size & there is no way this thing could support two people. It would collapse under the pressure of two bodies especially active bodies - wink, wink.Problem 1: the mattress slides off the box spring. Actually it flies right off if you’re not careful. My 65 lb labsky jumped on the bed & he & the mattress were literally airborne! I put a non-skid runner you use to keep rugs in place between the mattress & box spring so that helped.Problem 2: After about 6 months it started making noises whenever I rolled over or got up from the bed & I am definitely not overweight. We squirted different joints with a lubricant & that didn’t help. When we picked up the frame, parts fell out - parts that we didn’t have to put together in the first place! Like where did these parts come from? Later more noise & we cannot figure out where the hell they’re coming from. Oh & every time we pick up the box spring the horizontal struts fall off.Honestly DON’T BUY IT. It’s just not worth all the aggravation!
