Thoughtfully designed
I like this chair for many reasons - it is comfortable, and easy to assemble and clean. Most of all, I appreciate the many different sitting/kneeling positions it offers. It allows me to shift every so often and stretch my back while spending time at my desk. Since the foot/knee rest retracts the footprint of this versatile chair is similar to other desk chairs.

After four months of use, I could never go back to a standard chair. AMAZING design.
The SHORT version: This is a review after owning the chair for over four months and using it a minimum of eight hours a day. This chair is a miracle for folks that like to sit with one foot tucked under them. I can testify that the chair caters to people of all heights and weights being solidly built and the seat having a huge amount of versatility. It was easy to assemble, especially considering the completely alien design - the ONLY tricky part was getting the wheels of the lower platform to lock into place. If you are a person with a "non-standard" default seating position, this is THE chair for you!The LONG version: First and foremost, since almost all of the sales pictures are of itty bitty females that weigh less than what I had for lunch, let's establish that I'm a BIG guy: 6', 280#. Now, you may be asking yourself, "why did a rather large fellow choose a "yoga" chair targeting a more petite crowd? Well.. here's my story... I was a journalist and writer since back in the days when newspapers mattered, sitting at a desk and hammering out copy is my "thing". And, I've had chairs from almost every part of the world, ranging in price from $30-$1,600 dollars... but, they all had the same problem... me. I destroy chairs, not because of my size but because of the way I sit. When I "come in for a landing" I lift my right leg, bend it at the knee, place it on the chair, then proceed to sit down on that leg with it running right to left under my left thigh. Unfortunately, there are A LOT of others who utilize this back and chair destroying position, so there's a SIGNIFICANT secret market for this chair... folks who sit with one foot tucked under them. Now, instead of destroying the seat and my lower back, I can sit like a normal human, place my right foot onto the lower platform, swing that platform slightly left and put my left leg down (again, like a normal human) without making my spine into a backwards C. When I first got the chair I had incredibly high hopes but was extremely skeptical about two things: durability - this is A LOT of weight coming at it from a weird angle and ergonomics - does the lack of arms and tendency to make me lean forward just make me hunch forward vs. to the side? So, I wait to review this for nearly four months. After all that time and a whole bunch of sitting, I can very happily say, this works WAY better than I thought. For me, the secret is to raise the chair to the highest position and spin the backrest around to the front. I can still do my funky leg thing, but it prevents me from slouching. What this has done is incredible. Not only do I not end a long work period with a stiff back and nearly out of socket hip, my neck is FAR less painful as sitting upright forces me to align ALL of my back, from my neck to my rear. I do wish the leg rest was also height adjustable, but maybe when they come out with version 2.0. For now, this is EXACTLY what I needed and I am extremely grateful to the folks who designed it. This chair is NOT about back support nor is it a fly-by-night gimmick. This is an exceptional chair that provides a tremendous amount of functionality and versatility to those who enjoy irregular seating positions. So far, the seat has held up remarkably well with hundreds of hours already spent in it. This is an incredible value for the money and a true back-saver!

1000% get this!
100% buy this! I hate sitting with my legs down, this chair is so amazing because I can position myself so many different ways. It is super comfy, even when I've been sitting for a while. It assembled easily and rolls well. It is larger than a typical chair, so it doesnt fit under the desk, I have to keep it kind of on the side. Totally worth it.

Beautiful color but not the perfect ADHD chair.
As much as I enjoyed putting this together (huge Win for the L key handlebar) and loved how it looks... I can't get over the wobble of the bottom cushion. There's also no option to modify resistance in the swivel so the movements can be quite abrupt and slippery. I probably should have checked out the other options with higher # of ratings. Lol.
