I purchased these springs because I kept breaking the original springs that came with our recliners. These were significantly cheaper than buying from the furniture maker and are a bit beefier and have not had any issues since installing them. Very happy with quality, performance, and price.
I was about to kick my favorite recliner to the curb because 3 of the 4 total seat springs broke. I found these furniture replacement springs on Amazon. Price was good and fast shipping. Size wise they are similar to the originals. They are the same length, 3”, that’s important. However, the spring wire used is a smaller diameter. I can not tell if the replacements have the same tension or strength as the originals. I replaced all four of my springs and everything seems fine. Installation was simple. I used a piece of strong decoy cord to stretch the springs, no tool needed. (Check out the Recliner Repair guy on YouTube.) I also used strong zip ties to temporarily hold the box spring in place while I set these springs. Quick and simple. Only time will tell if they will hold up.
Perfect fit for our recliner's foot rest. Recliner feels new again. I used a drum brake spring tool I had lying around and it made for a quick and safe install.
Used this spring on the foot rest part of my recliner. Worked great, very sturdy and the exact size as advertised. A little hard to stretch but once in place works wonderfully
These were a perfect match for the springs which came with the chair. With a side-by-side comparison with the old, it would be impossible to tell them apart except that the old spring is misshapen, or broken
if you measure what you need properly, they do the job, nothing fancy to review. I"d buy again.
Both tension springs for my recliner broke so the leg rest wouldn't stay in. I measured the old springs and these were 3 inches long like the ones that broke. Easy to install and my recliner leg rest stays in after I put it down. Only needed two but came in a six pack so I have spares if I ever need any.
